Joshua Oppenheimer, one of the directors of The Act Of Killing, is one of this year's 21 recipients of the MacArthur Genius Award.

I was rooting for The Act of Killing. I saw this last night. It's a pure puff piece. An entertaining one with some impressive singing but nothing extraordinary. I did enjoy Darlene Love belting out "His Eye is on The Sparrow" though.

Okay, was it appropriate for Bradley Cooper to mention heroes while introducing a category that included "The Act of Killing"?
