Agreed but it's not like Terms of Endearment ( for example) where the story wasn't told in first person, it was told as a whole.

Nebraska on the other hand is in Will Forte's character's first person tell all, therefor making Forte the lead and Dern the Supporting

That's the problem with this whole lead/support issue. Films can have two leads.

The issue with this is Bruce Dern is the Supporting Role out of him and Will Forte is the Lead.

On screen it does seem 50/50 but there are a few moments that are drawn out where Will has more few extra minutes to himself ( he's alone for the first 15 minutes of the movie even) , plus the story is his point of view so that right there makes him the lead.

Sorry Bruce but you are the Supporting Actor here =/
