I never thought I'd live to see the day when I respected the National Board of Review's choice approximately 3,937 times as much as the NYFCC's.

More to come, but the (startling) headline from Variety:

"Her” nabbed the National Board of Review’s award for best film, and also scored the director award for helmer Spike Jonze.
