Wow. I know he's hated on this board but I can't believe you guys are seriously choosing Benigni over the nothingness Crowe does in the artless Gladiator. I mean, it's not even close for me -- Russell fucking Crowe.

There are lots of bland performances here, but nothing gut-wrenchingly awful like in Best Actress. Still, I went to the completely overblown Jamie Foxx.
