What I find most interesting is that this is one of my worst years of predictions yet, but I managed to come in fifth in the Oscar World contest...fucked up, I tell you.

There is usually one particular "foreign" country stands out in each year. Last year was Mexico and this year is France.

Oh well, still over three hours. God, how long would it have been had they had time to prepare?

Is this the first time in the Oscar history that all for acting award winners are non-Americans?

It's moving along really fast! Damn, I should have made my prediction for the show being UNDER three hours.

Honestly? It was never going to be great, but I think it's a reasonable enough broadcast considering they had very little time to put it together. And I think Stewart is MUCH improved from his previous gig.

I agree "Happy Working Song" on a bare stage is just wrong.

Or even Cotillard (France) or Page (Canada).

Have any Americans won yet?

Not that that's a bad thing--I love the global presence.

The intro video... how corny it can be? Terminator's face! come on! Stewart so far has been way below the standard... Amy Adams performance... so cheap... man, they're really making their best effort to ruin the night.
