He's not black. I think his wife is though.

Yes, I do prefer Siskel to Roeper.

It´s funny. We share the same character.

I think the best comparison is not Johnny Depp '03 but Jamie Lee Curtis '03: a family film performance everyone agreed was terrific, but in a film Oscar wouldn't take seriously enough. I bet Enchanted faces the same fate, as this is definitely kids' stuff. But Jamie Lee Curtis (or Glenn Close in 10...

That scene where she is simultaneously angry but also shocked/amused by the fact that she is just screams Oscar clip. Amy Adams totally nailed it. Count me as one of those who would be delighted see her name in the nomination list.

ENCHANTED Cast: Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey, James Marsden, Susan Sarandon, Rachel Covey, Timothy Spall, Idina Menzel. Dir: Kevin Lima Though the direction is uninteresting and the script could have been sharper (especially the third act), this film absolutely works thanks to the luminous, star-maki...

Probably 'The Ice Storm'. Haven't seen 'Eat Drink Man Woman' or 'Pushing Hands'. Only person on the planet who enjoys 'Hulk', if only because it's so categorically different from the leaden, emptier comic book adaptations. I happen to like The Hulk , Sabin. The overlong third act resolution aside, ...

I love Tim Burton. I think even Mars Attacks! is underappreciated and I strongly preferred his take on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory over Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

His worst film is Planet of the Apes.

Oh, I don't know. People over at BroadwayWorld website are largely positive.

Just because Johnny doesn't sound like George or Len, it doesn't mean that he's bad.

I wouldn't consider Anne Frank Remembered to be the same stylistically as The Diary of Anne Frank. They both tell the same story. One through a matter-of-fact manner using interviews and archive footage. The other through actors and recreated sets/dialogue for dramatic effect. Just like Cocteau's L...

Here's my proposal: Film eligibility: 01. Film should be at least 10 minutes in length. 02. Documentaries should be eligible. If your reasoning that documentaries shouldn't be eligible because "they operate on different rules than that of regular feature films" then animated films should ...
