I found one piece of great irony on the show. The winner for writing John Adams, during his speach, mentioned "Articulate men who articulated complex ideas with complete sentences." Then, he was cut off in mid sentence so the show could pitch its competition-reality show award.

My guess is that the Lehman Brothers, et al., problem will help Obama, as when the electorate is disturbed about the economy it has a tendancy to simply vote against the party that holds the White House.
