Easy choice with 2019.

I'll go with 2013, in spite of the large number of nominations for American Hustle, which I didn't like at all. The rest of field makes up for one weak film.

This decade overall just doesn't seem that great. Somehow, picking the best year from each decade has so far been a lot easier than I expected. In here, 1964 is the easy choice for me.

My pick is 1951. An American in Paris, A Place in the Sun, A Streetcar Named Desire and The African Queen feature prominently, and most of the other nominees are respectable at least.

Another easy choice with 1939, although 1946 has a lot of strong films also.
