Man, don't be this deffensive again! I'm not ridiculing anybody (does that verb actually exists?) but your point was, and I quote "this is no longer about rewarding the best". According to your statement, your voting process is better than FilmFan's... but actually it wasn't about to rewa...

I thought Crawford would keep his Oscar or that Peck was the one to take it away from him, but a victory from Wayne is not a bad one either... And of course all of ...

Sorry, thought it was Flipp's take... Apollo 13 is a deserving choice. However, Se7en gets this award. FilmFan720: Leading Actor '59 By the way, RainBard, I, for that matter, am not wishing anything in order for your choices to be changed. Of course (and thanks for remebering it) I would had given ...

Add Diahann Carroll, one of the 1968 awards' "ten friends of Oscar". "Ten Freiends of Oscar?"... Can you explain a little bit more of that? I saw I clip on youtube (maybe the best one of a previous Academy Award) where Carroll, Fonda, Russell, Bergman and Wood presented Best dir...

Thank God for the loosers! It's amazing how a minute Day-Lewis was the absolute favorite and now that he won he receives so many critics... his methods, he's looks, etc... Don care how he managed to do that... I thank him for the minutes I was able to watch him as that horrible but mesmerizing man!...

this wasn't a surprise, we talked that in here yesterday or the dya before... we were mentioning a lot of reasons that placed her ahead of Christie... the theory was proven right... Actually, it was kind of a boring night... can't believe that the only major shock came in the Visual Effects categor...
