Relax people, no one's saying Sandra deserves it because of her likability factor, but since she is the frontrunner it makes the inevitable easier to swallow. I really don't get all of this Sandra hate here and ranking her amongst the worst possible BA winners ever in history is rather extreme. At ...

If Bullock win's I doubt we'll see fake tears. If she win's I think it could be a pretty fantastic speach. She seems like a very self-deprecating woman and her speach could be a combination of self-deprecation and overcome emotion. I think it could be very funny and quite moving. Her SAG speech was...

I agree that all of this talk about Meryl having to win because she is so deserving a THIRD Oscar is rather silly. If voters feel she's so deserving then why do they keep finding an alternative to her every year? I also suspect that Sophie's Choice was a blessing and a curse. Until she gets as clos...

Bullock's got this in the bag. Sorry, Meryl. She hasn't got it yet at all. Sure they love Bullock, but she won SAG award because Meryl won last year. We'll see, it's going to be interesting. 2000's Best Actresses started with Julia and will very likely end with Sandra, 2 of the most popular actress...

Wow. Ya know, I never thought of it in that way and you may have a point, but I seriously doubt that the bubbly Sandra has given that much into the roles she handpicks. Of course one could argue that the subconscious could be the culprit in this kind of "cinematic depravity" if you will, ...

Welcome back, Mashari. Where you been? The divas always get you back here. :D Hey, Damien and everyone! Great to be back. I've been so busy, but you know I couldn't resist giving my take on the divas in contention lol. Can't believe I've been a member for over 10 years, starting with the old board!...

I'm not getting all this talk about scars. I was the one that alluded to the critical comparisons of Carey Mulligan to Audrey Hepburn. Maybe I need to see An Education again, but I was somewhat underwhelmed by it. Perhaps I was expecting too much. I have seen Mulligan in other things including Blea...

I really hope my man Tarantino is the beneficiary for voters wanting to sidestep the Cameron-Bigelow debacle. I think this is the one major category Harvey can pull off with a win despite losing big at the Globes.

As good as a lock as Hudson was in 2006. Best supp. performance of the decade IMO.

I wouldn't count out Sandra even though Warner Bros. didn't send out the screeners to SAG(the amazing box office and the fact that she's never won one surely compensates). Meryl also just won last year. My money's still on her for the Oscar as I don't see Meryl winning for mostly lightweight Julia,...

The only logical surprise left would be Meryl or Frank.
