It's already been renewed for a second season. I love Pushing Daisies and hate Amelie for what it's worth. Lee Pace and Anna Friel are just too adorable for words, the supporting cast is divine. And I hate Kristin Chenowith as a rule, so I'm surprised at just how much I love her here. Edited By Okr...

How come no one mentions Barfly for great Faye? I'll take that over Mommie Dearest any day.

So is The Barbarian Invasions, but they classified that as original.

I don't mind their being a distinction (and I find the definitions of comedy and drama to be blurred more often - how many times have you disagreed with the Golden Globe placement of a film).

Oooh, you devil. Well, no passes = no Streisand or Hepburn. Both are good performances, but I'd probably only consider Hepburn, and probably not for very long (and wouldn't it be mean to give someone with no passes left the best actor/1932 category?) So who's left? Redgrave - I haven't seen. I real...

You know, I think the fact that they don't change a hell of a lot is part of the reason I enjoyed the film so much. Cera and Dennings do have great chemistry, and the flow of the film is superb. The characters are so charmingly young - they have life ahead of them and right now just want to find th...

Who is that?

Anyway, it's Rosemary DeWitt. She was John Hamm/Don Draper's girlfriend in the first season of Mad Men (well, the first three episodes anyway - haven't seen the rest).

She's pretty good. Her role is a lot smaller then you'd expect - she really only has two or three moments in the film, and I'd be surprised if her screen time was higher then ten minutes. I wouldn't expect much in terms of awards, especially since I expect DeWitt (in the title character/secondary l...

I saw this at the local film festival, and I'll join the raves for Hathaway, DeWitt and a special mention for Bill Irwin. I really hope he isn't forgotten in the awards hoopla because he's magnificent. Right now, I think it's a great contender for original screenplay, with everyone/thing else being...

Yes. Right now, Warren Beatty, Stephen Daldry, and Mike Nichols have all received nominations for their first two films.
