They passed on the Hathaway/Streep showdown just like the Broadcast Critics (but in a different way), so Best Actress still does not have a frontrunner.

I sure hope not.

I sure hope so.

Babson Lacrosse posts at another message board I frequent. He may still post at Goldderby too.

I know he said he hated her when she won one of her awards at the Emmys this year. I'm looking through some of his posts and he's a very negative, angry type in general.

Which means that by the end of the weekend, this will have outgrossed Eastwood's last three movies. I'm trying to ...

Poor Diane Venora. She was better than Weaver and Davis that year and no one even knows who she is anymore.

To Kill A Mockingbird, Summer of '42, and The Man in the Moon are three of the all-time greats, for my money, and three of the best films ever made about the various stages of childhood and adolescence.

Looks to me like this is an Eastwood film that will divide his auteurist fans from...everyone else.

Can't wait to see it myself.

Not eligible, since Disney and Pixar elected to submit it for Best Animated film, which meant it couldn't contend in Best Comedy/Musical.
