Re: First Oscar Predictions
I was extremely impressed with Sabin's First Oscar Predictions. In the acting races, I believe Sabin's picks duplicated mine exactly. Excellent job synthesizing the buzz as it currently exists. Yet it has been mentioned nominations are announced slightly late-ish this year so a surprising tweak or t...

Re: Categories One-by-One: Supporting Actor
Mark Rylance takes the BAFTA in this category, making him a more visible presence. Notwithstanding, Stallone might take this category Oscar night based on sentiment/Lifetime Achievement mentalities.

Re: Ridiculously Early Nomination Predictions
Along these lines (& I don't know if anyone's thrown this in, I've not read this entire thread) the December 4th issue of ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY handicaps the Best Supporting Actress race on page 57. The headline "Supporting Role That Really Lead" is a tip-off. Contenders listed as "...

Re: 2015 Tony Nominations
Funny you'd hone in on that category. This was a last minute switch just made today. Switched Wolf Hall to second place & moved The Audience into the top spot. Also on the musical side for this category, flipped An American in Paris for The King & I. These are simply 11th hour hunches. Perha...
