Re: Official General Oscars Discussion

Did Howard forget Whiplash? Or did his teleprompter go out and he had to fake it?

Speaking of hunches, I have a weird feeling that Unbroken wins one award tonight, and Foxcatcher takes Makeup. I just couldnt put them in my predix.

With the daytime Emmys approaching, I thought I would share a little experiment I did over the last year with you guys. I watched every soap as much as possible. I know, slightly insane. But I did give up cable a while back to save money and so my TV obsession only got worse on those few channels I...

wow, I missed the party. I am thankful for the existance of the site and the board. I've visited it for years and I appreciate the opinions, the lists, the more movie knowledgable people than me, and heck, even the drama.

Then I guess I have no business doing so. I ranked it above Avatar and Up in the Air. I hated almost every minute of Up in the Air, and Avatar was IMO boring. I didn't care about the characters, the storyline, or the whining Navi. The Blind Side, yes, a glorified Lifetime movie, but at least I wasn...

My (short) take on the shorts: Live-Action: Kavi: Unnecessary. The attempt to make it "moving" failed by all means. C- The New Tenants: Interesting story and I enjoyed most of it. The violence was actually kinda enjoyable, something I'm not used to in the shorts. B Miracle Fish: It started off very...
