Has anything more been said about a film of "Follies" or am I losing my mind? I had a dream that Jill Clayburgh was singing that song!

DWS: I don't understand why you watch this show. You hate everything about it. I don't like it much, but it is *kind of* an interesting human nature study.

So much for VFTW. Gone! Who will they pick next? The rest have some chance, even Anoop, and would they hit on poor South Asian kid? Don't think so. Maybe they will go after Adam, because he's so creepy--but he does dress up pretty well. Matt is too much of a wimp to hit on, and Scott is blind....so...

I don't think that VFTW has a great deal of clout here--never have thought that they did. The thing that will keep Megan in will be what *she* honestly believes are her *fans*. She's cute as a bug's ear, but she does not choose her songs well. If it were really up to me, I would can Scott, blind or...

Probably safe:
Adam
Kris
Danny
Lil
On the cusp:
Matt
Scott
In trouble:
Allison* a sixteen-year old, distracting us with her god-awful outfit that she thought was super, like a 16-year old would.
Anoop
Megan
Megan goes home.

Just read this on the news, thanks dws. I hope that more of this board will watch this show, and now they will have a chance to for a while more. Connie Britton , IMO, is one of the best things on TV, and while we will miss "Matt" and "Kyra" and some of the others, when they gra...

We saw this on DVD tonight, and it was definitely worth seeing this great ensemble working together--I was sort of reminded of The Big Chill in a wierd way.
Rosemarie DeWitt was robbed of an Oscar nomination. She was leagues ahead of Penelope Cruz.

I am not familiar with the rules re Off-Broadwy plays in the running for the Tony.I thought Dividing The Estate and [title of show] played Off-Broadway first. One should consider Enter Laughing, and whoever said Hair would win, obviously has not seen the rave reviews for Guys And Dolls. West Side S...

Probably.

Was surprised to see Matt in the bottom three. I thought he would throw up.

On the chopping block: Scott,Megan and Mike, and maybe Danny.

I'm not sure that you could prove that, Peter.

Which brings me to the character of Poppy. Everyone here seems to have bought into the "she's just someone who wants to bring a positive attitude into the world". I know that's what the film's publicity promoted (even my Netflix sleeve), and the trailer as well, by highlighting the film's...

I felt extremely badly for Alexis last night, being told that she had to sing "Jolene" again, when the first time was terrible. She looked like she was pleading for her very life, not appealing to Jolene to stay away from her man. It was not a pretty sight. I believe that before long we w...

. He seemed to just be courting the religious base last night over the sympathy vote. I don't think that will get him very far. As far as Adam went, and he went a long way OUT with Ring Of Fire, he is audacious, can hit some pretty holy notes, but looks fucking ridiculous, his version was sacrilegi...
