Re: 2020 Oscar Nomiantions

A bit disappointed Ma Rainey's Black Bottom didn't get nominated for Best Picture. It deserved it. Thank God Tenet wasn't nominated for Best Original Score. Re: Categories One-by-One: Music Score

I had an interesting conversation with two Golden Globe voters two weeks ago. They said that many of voting members had voted for Johann Johannsson's score from The Theory of Everything mainly because of the beautiful last composition. However, at that time they didn't know it wasn't Johannsson's or...

Re: Last Seen Movie - The Latest Movie You Have Seen; ratings

You mean someone actually liked Braveheart and A Beautiful Mind and Crash? All these three films are so much better than horrible Boyhood. I mean, I wouldn't hate it that much if it wasn't the frontrunner at the Oscars. I can't see any reason why would Patricia Arquette win the award. I can't see a...

Well, if it wins Best Picture Oscar, it will be THE worst film winning Best Picture Oscar ever.
Someone hasn't seen "Cimarron."
True that! :D
I just said that for having a dramatic effect. But let's say the worst since sixties. :)

Re: Academy disqualifies an Oscar-nominee!

Rules are rules, but then why Nicolas Chartier remained an Oscar-nominee (and eventually a winner) after the same situation with The Hurt Locker?
