Re: Unseen Foreign Film nominees
Precious Doll (and anyone else who can answer this), You have a list of films you are waiting to see. I notice that the Yugoslavian film Three is not on this list nor is the Puerto Rican film What Happened to Santiago , which means you have somehow tracked them down and seen them. How did you get a ...

Re: Rare Films - Can anyone help me?
I received A Cage of Nightingales from Zeus DVDs in the mail. It has no English subtitles, so it is still on my unseen Movie list. Darn it... I thought Zeus would help me here. I do think he should say on his site that there are NO English subtitles for this movie. I mean, for most people, it become...

Since reading your responses, I found that the above website has copies of The Leatherneck and A Cage of Nightingales.

Re: Rare Films - Can anyone help me?
Big Magilla,
If The Dark at the Top of the Stairs is on YouTube, I surely cannot find it there. Would you mind posting it in a link below?
Also, does TCM play this one?
Thanks!

Re: Rare Films - Can anyone help me?
Wow! Thank you! And anyone else who wants to weigh in, I am curious about the Foreign Films too.
I want you to know that I posted this list a very long time ago and I don't think so many of these films were available then on DVD. Certainly, no one responded with a post like yours!
Thanks!

Rare Films - Can anyone help me?
Hello All, I don't think I have posted on the board in like 7 years, but I was an active member years ago. Below are a list of films I am looking to watch but I don't know where to find them. They would all be classified as rare films, and all are Oscar nominees. I am not a true Oscar completist, bu...

Re: What was this film...
I strongly believe it was the 90s. Possibly the early 2000s, but I don't think it was as late as that. It may be possible that it was a Children of the Corn film?

What was this film...
I can't remember the name of this film or any of the actors in it, but I am hoping someone here can help me think of the name. It was not a reputable film by any means. Probably a 1-star film at best. I just remember this scene where these two horny teenagers (probably high school or college student...

And Reza, I was actually not far from you on this trip. On October 30, I hired a driver for the day and we drove from the Kashgar airport to Karakul Lake, which is 330 km from the China-Pakistan border. I didn't even know those countries bordered. I know that's still relatively far, but certainly a...

I've only been to Hong Kong. I've always wanted to go to China. My biggest concern about it, really, is that I've been told that VERY, VERY few people in the mainland speak or understand English so being part of a tour group (or being shown around by someone who knows the place) is a must so asking...

I stayed in hostels. I am a young 'un and that didn't bother me. Besides, I was there alone so hostels were affordable and allowed me to meet other travelers. At the hostels I stayed in, there was ALWAYS internet access and there were computers in the common area to use. Wi-Fi is ubiquitous. Even a...
